MATERIAL DAMPING TEST OF HIGH TEMPERATURE ALLOY

This study presented a high temperature material damping test method and developed an experiment apparatus. A resonance dwell technique using a double-reed specimen was proposed, and damping test was performed in vacuum environment. Using this system, the damping of Ti-6-4 was tested.
