A test stand named ANIPROP RL3 is introduced. The device allows the simultaneous recording of dynamic and kinematic quantities like thrust, lift and speed of components for biologically-inspired flight. The models are suspended from a boom and rotate around a hub on a circular path of about 6 m diameter.
