Top mounted supersonic inlet has been designed for Silent SuperSonic Technology Demonstrator S3TD being developed in JAXA. Aerodynamic performances were evaluated by CFD with unique boundary condition to predict bleed characteristics. Wind tunnel tests were also performed to show the inlet having enough performance to ensure the engine operation.
