WIND TUNNEL INVESTIGATION OF FLOWFIELD ON THE FOWLER FLAP AND IN THE COVE USING PIV METHOD

An experimental investigation was conducted to study the influence of the Fowler flap cove geometry on the flowfield in the flap slot. The flowfield on the flap and in the slot was studied using PIV visualization method. Results of the wind tunnel experiments were compared with the CFD computation results.
