Flow instability around 2D airfoil at low Reynolds numbers is numerically investigated. Two different unsteady states are reproduced with a slight change of conditions: one is attributed to the wake instability, and the other induces the boundary-layer instability. The latter may be considered as origin of the acoustic feedback loop.
