Structured/unstructured overset grids method with each Euler CFD solver is developed for sonic-boom prediction of supersonic airplanes. The near-field pressure signatures of an airplane with complicated configuration are efficiently obtained by the structured CFD analysis in which the flow-field around the airplane is interpolated from the unstructured CFD analysis.
