A new real-time system identification method of aircraft dynamics is proposed. This method is superior to the conventional methods in terms of accuracy and delay, and is characterized by wavelet transformation, which provides time-frequency information effectively. The method is evaluated by experiments employing a small UAV and newly-developed dedicated avionics.
