Under contract of Eurocontrol, AT-One developed innovative concepts that use surface movement surveillance systems to increase taxiway throughput in low visibility conditions when separation between aircraft is provided by ground controllers. Two promising solutions were further evaluated in real-time tower and cockpit simulations with active controllers and airline pilots involved.
