BIRD STRIKE ANALYSES ON THE PARTS OF AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE

The article describes using air gun with smooth borehole for proof of bird strike resistance of aircraft parts. Test method is based on gained experience from previous tests carried out in the VZLU. The ABAQUS/Explicit code has been used for impact simulation onto the parts of aircraft structure.
