Ageing aircraft issues can be put down to stress corrosion cracking, fatigue cracking, mechanical component failure, and cable/wire insulation breakdown. This paper will reflect on lesser known factors such as an ageing workforce which can develop a certain degree of complacency and sealant reversion.
