The experimental study is conducted to improve the control surfaces effectiveness of a ducted-fan UAV. The control authority is evaluated across a velocity spectrum including hover, transition and forward flight. The investigation is formulated as a multivariate control problem of stators, elevons and rudders under turbulent conditions.
