OPTIMIZATION OF A NOVEL RBCC PROPULSION SYSTEM BY GENETIC ALGORITHM

A genetic algorithm is implemented to optimize a novel ejector system of a RBCC engine. Up to 12 variables define the geometric configuration of the combined air and rocket streams. Ejector systems representing combinations of these variables are optimized for entrained air mass flow rate and mixing potential.
