Keywords: transition, three- dimensional rans, swept wing, linear stability

A full eN transition criterion which solves the three-dimensional compressible Orr-Sommerfeld equations is coupled in the Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) solver to predict the transition point automatically during the simulation of the flow around the infinite swept wings. The computed transition positions agree well with the experimental data.
