The NASA-DFRC Ikhana project executed the 2007 Western States Fire Missions (WSFM) using a Predator B UAS in partnership with NASA-Ames supporting the National Interagency Fire Center (NIFC). The flights had great success in providing near real-time IR imagery to fire fighters, although mission preparation was challenging.
