We discuss an automated tool, airspaceAnalyzer, which simulates a controller by automatically separating, sequencing, and spacing aircraft. It is used to measure sector complexity by quantify-ing the needed work (delays, maneuvers, degree of success, etc.) airspaceAnalyzer load-balances the effort across two sectors to achieve desired Miles-in-Trail spacing.
