We envision an RFID system in which future on-board RFID tags and readers of network enabled airplanes are connected to ground systems at airports traversed, for multiple purposes such as logistics, maintenance, and access control. We propose an architecture for such a multi-purpose RFID system, and present detailed security analysis.
