Experimental tunnel tests were conducted to investigate the effects of different wing tip devices and systems on the reduction of induced drag. The experiments were: an analysis of delta tip, winglet, and “Hoerner” devices; effect of wing tip blowing; and an analysis of adaptive multi-winglets on vortex drag.
