In our proposed setup there are parabolic-retractable-reflectors on the lower-surface of the air-craft. A laser is fired on them producing plasma, which provides a vertical-lift-off. For the forward-thrust, an on-board laser source and a concave reflector are provided to focus laser thus producing plasma and imparting thrust to the Air-Vehicle.
