Experiments on vortex shedding from a rotating cylinder of finite aspect-ratio for velocity ratios less than 4 and Re = 41,000 to 98,000 were performed. The existence of a second region of vortex shedding at high velocity ratio, seen in numerical simulations for Re less than 200, is explored.
