Bird strike represents a menace for flight safety. The guidelines of a methodology to develop bird-proof intakes made in composite material are drawn. Core of the methodology is the synergy of experimental tests and numerical simulations. The reliability of the proposed methodology is eventually demonstrated in view of the obtained results.
