This paper presents a through-thickness reinforcement repair strategy for delaminated carbon/epoxy composite laminates. The repair technique is shown to be highly effective. The failure mechanisms of undamaged, delaminated, and repaired composite panels are examined, and the optimisation of the repair configuration is investigated through theoretical modelling and experimental testing.
