MICROWAVE TECHNOLOGIES FOR COMPOSITE PROCESSING

Microwave processing in CFRP technology is shown on three examples. Resin preheating, fabric pre-forming and composite curing is done with microwaves. The effects of this process is shown in com-parison with conventional technology. Therefore typical material testing is done, for showing the char-acteristic of a microwave processed material.
