A CDTI symbology was developed for the NOCTARN airborne system, a trajectory-based operations concept for single-pilot operated aircraft. A series of flight simulations to evaluate pilot acceptance of the CDTI was carried out, focusing particularly on acceptance of separation assurance procedures and enhancement of traffic awareness.
