NEW MEASUREMENT TECHNIQUES IN THE ONERA LARGE WIND TUNNELS

Recent achievements in using new measurement techniques in the ONERA large wind tunnels are presented. The developments concern both surface measurement techniques (PSP Pressure Sensitive Paints) and flowfield measurement techniques (PIV Particle Images Velocimetry, and DGV Doppler Global Velocimetry). A detailed validation is made by comparison with known techniques.
