This paper describes development and initial test results of the Fan-Shaft-Driven Generator (FSDG). FSDG is mounted in the tailcone on the fan-shaft of the engine, aiming to replace/supplement RAT in emergency conditions as well as provide additional power during normal conditions. A 150kW SR generator was developed and tested.
