SONIC BOOM PREDICTION, FOCUSING AND MITIGATION

For sonic boom prediction, the near-field and far-field solutions are predicted using Euler equation and full-potential equation, respectively. For the focusing problem, the nonlinear Tricomi equation is solved using four schemes. For the sonic boom mitigation, a wing dihedral is added and flattening of the aircraft lower side is applied.
