Environmental impacts of aviation are moving into the public and political spotlight. This study shall analyse the interactions of atmospheric, local air and noise pollution. The analysis shall bring about new strategies in aircraft design that aim at reducing the environmental impact of aircraft while duly considering economic constraints.
