Keywords: Flight Control, Flutter, Novel Actuators, Distributed Control

Recent developments in actuator technology have resulted in small, simple devices capable of generating control forces for flight vehicles. Two experiments demonstrate the potential of such devices. First, flutter of a flexible wing is suppressed. Second, a novel control architecture is developed and implemented on a remotely piloted flight vehicle.
