DLR’s helicopter pilot assistance system name PAVE is introduced. PAVE supports the pilots in exectuting today’s standard procedures, emergency procedures in case of an engine failure, noise abatement procedures and time based procedures required for future ATM applications. PAVE supports the pilot especially in flight planning and execution.
