The MINC System, developed at the Institute of Aerospace Systems, contains a MEMS-based IMU and uses a tightly-coupled Kalman Filter for onboard GPS/INS data fusion. Measuring 40x80x15 mm and weighting 25 grams, it enables precise navigation and highly dynamic flight control aboard a MAV for the first time.
