Thrust vectoring can effectively change the way aircraft maneuver.Paper highlights a concept as Single Engine Multiple Outlet.This can be explained by multiple nozzles than one nozzle.This idea may be able to applied to VTOL,and can change thrust direction,hence reducing dependability on the primary control surface.
