The hybrid fabrication route is based on the combination of the Prepreg- and the Liquid Resin Infusion Technology for manufacturing cost efficient CFRP airframe structures. For a fundamental assessment numerous experimental investigations were carried out referring mainly to the characterisation of the contact zone of the two different matrix resins.
