A breakdown of the aircraft subsystems and an object-oriented tool were developed. Metrics such as weight and power requirements are tracked. Reliability is considered through a criticality scale. Constraints are modeled for each subsystem. The subsystems and technologies analyzed, are then linked to determine the impact at the aircraft level.
