Keywords: wind tunnel, boundary-layer control, boundary-layer blowing, 2-D experiments

To minimize 3-D effects on 2-D models a boundary-layer control technique is used. The blowing of the boundary layer is closely related to the jet geometry. Several options are investigated. The results are of paramount importance on the experimental set-up for proper blower positioning with respect to the airfoil model.
