NUMERICAL STUDY OF EFFECTS OF INJECTION PRESSURE AND LOCATION OF SECONDARY INJECTION INSIDE LOW-THRUST SATELLITE NOZZLE

Secondary injection in mainstream flow in divergent section of nozzle causes asymmetric pressure distribution on nozzle wall. It is noted that with increase in injection pressure asymmetric pressure on nozzle wall also increases. Location near throat is more effective than near exit of nozzle for a certain pressure ratio.
