NOISE GENERATION AROUND NACA0012 WINGTIP USING LARGE-EDDY-SIMULATION

The objective of this study is to perform Large-Eddy-Simulation around NACA0012 wingtip, and investigate the directivity pattern around the wingtip using Kirchhoff method. NACA0012 wingtip was chosen because the flow structure is similar with that of flap-edge. Broadband noise, which is generated at the side-edge of the wingtip, is captured.
