One possibility to enhance the runway capacity in Frankfurt/Main is the High Approach Landing System with Dual Threshold Operation (HALS/DTOP). An already completed study was focusing on human factor aspects of pilots. The next step within this project will be a real-time simulation with ATC and pilots.
