This paper reports the assessments of stability as well as flying qualities of an 8-passenger wing-in-surface-effect vehicle in cruise flight. The assessments prove that the vehicle is statically and dynamically stable and, with aid of stability augmentation system for lateral-directional motions, reaches Level 1 flying qualities in all modes.
