Aming to realize low boom and low drag SST, a biplane configuration was preliminarily designed and analyzed. We revisitd Busemann`s biplane and confirmed its adventage in drag reduction capability. Then, new biplane section shapes were designed by an inverse problem approach. They showed good aerodynamic performance.
