A small tail-sitting VTOL (Vertical Take Off and Landing) UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) was preliminary designed. The optimized transitional flight paths were investigated to evaluate flight capability of the airplane, and many important guidelines for designing tail-sitting UAV were found.
