High alpha aerodynamics of an SST configuration with leading-edge flaps and trailing-edge flaps have been investigated by the wind tunnel tests. The lift-to-drag ratio improvement, rolling moment characteristics and ground effects were clarified by means of forces and static pressure measurements and a PIV survey.
