This paper deals with in-flight measurements to investigate laminar-turbulent transition on an airfoil. Low speed experiments were carried out using a laminar wing glove for a sailplane. In-flight tests on an A320-laminar-fin were conducted in close collaboration with Airbus. Different surface sensor measuring techniques (piezofoil, surface hotwires, microfons) were used.
