FAULT IMMUNE FLIGHT CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CIVIL TRANSPORTS

The autonomous flight control system with 10-12 fault/hour to a critical failure is discussed. One-man pilot, a pilot control through flight path, a reflex-motion type of reconfiguration in case of control surface failures in the basic control layer are cited as main contributors to a fault immune system.
