CONTRAIL AND CIRRUS CLOUD AVOIDANCE

Novel concepts for the jet engine and the aircraft are explored in order to reduce cirrus cloud formation. The conference paper describes the approach and realization of this study. The parameterisation of engine, aircraft and flight path provides the opportunity to carry out sensitivity analysis and optimisation.
