An evolutional design support strategy was proposed to supply a general guidance for exploring possible topics on design support for aircraft conceptual design. This paper summarizes the multidisciplinary perspective of design support and discusses practical issues of applying support approaches. The relations between theoretic investigations and design practice are depicts.
