In order to reduce thermal radiation transport through Thermal Barrier Coating system, a ceramic based multiple layered coating was designed in this research. This multiple layered system has high reflectance to radiation in the wavelength range of 0.3 ~ 6 um where 90% of radiation at typical gas temperature falls.
