A multidisciplinary aircraft design process is defined, in which the focus is set on knowledge based generation of geometry at the initial state of the design process. Therefore, the 3D CAD tool CATIA V5 is employed from the first sketch to both create parametric geometry and perform different analyses, which are covered by this tool.
