Among considered maneuvers are motions following a sudden deflection of elevator and response to a vertical gust. Analysis is based on the linearized equation of motion of a rigid airplane. An important point in the analysis was estimating the stability derivatives, computed by means of panel methods, and compared with the results of classical engineering approach.
